Kazakhstan marked Independence Day. 34 years ago, on
December 16, the Constitutional Law on the State Independence of Kazakhstan was
adopted. Among the first countries to recognize sovereign Kazakhstan were Türkiye,
the U.S., China, the UK, France, and others. A few months later, Kazakhstan
became a member of the United Nations. Over the years of independence, the
country has established itself as a responsible and reliable partner in
international relations. Kazakhstan has repeatedly provided a platform for
dialogue on global challenges. During the years of independence, Kazakhstan’s
economy has grown elevenfold. According to the Institute of Economic Research,
foreign trade turnover, GDP, and investment volumes have increased.
