From analyzing interests and providing psychological support to helping school students choose a profession - all of this is made possible thanks to a domestic AI platform. The Kazakh-developed WeGlobal.AI is capable of identifying teenagers’ interest in specific fields at an early stage, as well as highlighting areas that require additional attention. Overall, whereas diagnostics in schools used to be conducted several times a month, it is now possible to assess students’ psycho-emotional state through a single test. This allows teachers to adapt and tailor personalized learning for each student. During its pilot launch, the EdTech startup demonstrated its effectiveness and generated strong interest. Today, the innovative project is used in nearly a thousand educational institutions across Kazakhstan. Moreover, the platform has also attracted the attention of foreign educational institutions.
«Uzbekistan has shown interest in our platform. We plan to implement it in Tashkent in cooperation with our partners. In addition, on January 21, we will travel to the United Kingdom, where there is also demand from local schools,» noted Akzhol Zambayev, Co-founder and CEO of WeGlobal AI.
Thirteen startups participating in the Astana Innovations Accelerator have proven the viability of their ideas and are ready to scale up. The projects offer IT solutions in healthcare, education, urban infrastructure, and public safety. According to Astana Hub, 21 technological solutions were initially selected from 160 applications for the program. Over the course of eight weeks, the teams adapted their developments to meet the needs of the capital. These solutions are now being implemented on a pilot basis in organizations across Astana.
«Thanks to the pilot program, new
opportunities are opening up for the projects, particularly for participation
in tenders. For example, the city administration is optimizing budget expenditures, and
many of these startups can help implement these plans,» said Ashimbek Abilgazinov, Chief Manager of the Business Programs Office at Astana Hub.
