Kazakhstan
ranks second globally in recognition of teachers’ work. This is evidenced by
the results of the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS 2024), conducted by the Organisation for
Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The
Ministry of Education notes that this figure confirms positive changes in the
education system and the effectiveness of reforms initiated by the Head of
State, including the implementation of the Law on the Status of Teachers. The ministry also emphasizes
developing a culture of responsible AI use and strengthening academic integrity
principles. Notably, the TALIS survey assesses the educational
environment, teachers’
working conditions, opportunities for professional growth, pedagogical
practices, and professional attitudes. More than 7,000 teachers and
approximately 370 school principals from Kazakhstan participated in the survey.
