Improving the efficiency of public administration is one of the key goals of the upcoming constitutional reforms in Kazakhstan. This is the view of Farhad Mammadov, head of the Center for Studies of the South Caucasus. According to him, amending the country’s Basic Law and the form of government require a balanced and well-considered approach. Therefore, the work has been underway for several years. The process is accompanied by broad public discussion involving experts, members of the National Kurultai, and citizens.
«The proposed reforms should, first of all, ensure the sustainability of statehood. Second, their goal is to enhance the efficiency of public administration. Another crucial element is ensuring inclusive development,» Farhad Mammadov noted.
