The encyclopedic work titled Aliya Moldagulova: The Immortal Feat was presented in Astana. The book comprises previously unpublished archival materials and rare photographs, as well as recollections from relatives and contemporaries of the legendary daughter of the Kazakh people. Through the lens of historical data and literary works, the author aimed to reveal the unique personality of the young sniper in a new light. The book took two years to prepare.
«The work is dedicated
to the 100th anniversary of Aliya Moldagulova’s birth. Books about the young
machine gunner were also published in the 1960s and 1980s, with another edition
released for her 50th anniversary. However, since then, new information has
come to light, which is now included in this publication,» noted Amangeldi Nugmanov, a member of the Senate, the Upper
House of the Kazakh Parliament.
