A
credential presentation ceremony was held at the Akorda Presidential Palace,
where the ambassadors of Greece and Portugal formally presented their letters
of credence to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. In
his welcoming remarks, the Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan pursues an
exclusively peaceful foreign policy. He stated that all current global issues should be resolved
through diplomatic means. Tokayev
also conveyed his greetings to the heads of state and government of Greece and
Portugal and extended an invitation for them to visit Astana.
