Nuclear energy specialists will undergo training under
the Bolashak program, as announced at a regular meeting of the National Commission for training personnel abroad. During the
event, chaired by State Counsellor Erlan Karin, participants reviewed the list
of international subject Olympiads and scientific competitions. Their winners
will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. It was recommended that the list
include internationally recognized Olympiads in mathematics, physics,
chemistry, biology, and other subjects. Over the past three years, 76 Kazakh school students have
become prize winners in such competitions. Special attention was given to a new
selection category for employees of the nuclear industry. The training of qualified specialists will become an important condition for the development of the country’s
nuclear sector. Relevant government agencies were instructed to improve the competitive
selection rules.
