The new Constitution will boost regional development, Senate Chairman Maulen Ashimbayev said during a meeting with residents of the North Kazakhstan region. According to him, the changes will create a flexible government structure capable of responding quickly to modern challenges. Speaking to workers at local enterprises, Ashimbayev emphasized that the document is aimed at supporting domestic production and fostering a competitive economy. In a conversation with young people, he noted that the constitutional reforms are designed to open up broad opportunities for their personal and professional growth.
«At the heart of the
draft new Constitution are the principles of law and order, the interests and
rights of citizens, and the principles of justice and equal opportunity. The
draft Basic Law enshrines priorities such as education, science, culture, and
innovation, as well as guarantees for freedom of creativity and protection of
intellectual property. In this context, supporting talented, educated, and proactive young people becomes a
strategic priority for the country’s development. The new Constitution
establishes an institutional foundation for regional development,» said Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate, the
Upper House of the Kazakh Parliament.
