Kazakhstan invited to join Board of Peace

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received an official invitation from Donald Trump to join the Gaza «Board of Peace». Kazakhstan has also been invited to become one of the founding member states of the new body. This was reported by Ruslan Zheldibay, Assistant and Press Secretary to the President. He said Tokayev was among the first global leaders to receive the invitation and has already sent a reply confirming his agreement to join the board. In his response, the President emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to contributing to lasting peace in the Middle East, strengthening interstate trust, and enhancing global stability. Earlier, Trump announced the formation of the Gaza «Board of Peace», which will include representatives from the United States and international organizations. In addition, at Trump’s invitation, Tokayev will participate in the G20 summit at the end of 2026.
