In Astana, around 120 projects worth 1.9 trillion tenge are being implemented as part of the National Pool. This was reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev today during his visit to the capital’s industrial and social facilities. At the Tausogar plant, the President reviewed the production of tower cranes, elevators, and escalators, which are in high demand among the country’s leading construction companies. He then toured an exhibition showcasing manufacturing products, including gypsum-vinyl panels, pipes, and fire alarm systems produced by enterprises located in Industrial Park No. 1. The Head of State was also briefed on plans for the second Industrial Park, where more than 100 projects worth 500 billion tenge are slated for implementation. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also visited the Besqaru plant, which specializes in the production and technical maintenance of armored wheeled and tracked vehicles. The President inspected the production facilities and familiarized himself with the company’s technological processes. The enterprise manufactures up to 200 units of amphibious wheeled armored vehicles, including Taimas and Aibar, as well as Tulpar tracked vehicles. The plant supplies its products to units of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Defense and other security agencies. The production facility was launched in February this year, with the project valued at 13.5 billion tenge.
