On January 22, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will make a working visit to Davos at the invitation of Donald Trump. According to the Akorda press service, President Tokayev will take part in the signing ceremony of the Charter of the Board of Peace. Notably, he was among the first leaders to receive an official invitation from the U.S. President to join the Gaza Board of Peace, with Kazakhstan invited to become one of the founding states of the new body. President Tokayev has sent a response letter to the U.S. leader confirming his agreement to join the board. In his message, the Head of State emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to contributing to the achievement of lasting peace in the Middle East, interstate trust, and global stability.
