Kazakh President orders stronger security of strategic infrastructure

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has instructed the Prime Minister, the heads of security agencies, the Samruk Kazyna fund, national companies, and regional governor’s offices to strengthen measures to protect critical infrastructure, including transport, energy, utilities, airports, and ports. Coordination of this work has been entrusted to the Secretary of the Security Council. The announcement was made by Aibek Smadiyarov, Advisor and Press Secretary to the President, on his Telegram channel.
