Foreign and regional media are analyzing the initiatives of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev aimed at further modernizing the country’s political system. At the center of attention are proposals for institutional changes that, according to media assessments, are intended to enhance the stability and effectiveness of public administration. In particular, the Kyrgyz news agency 24.kg highlights President Tokayev’s initiative to introduce the position of Vice President. For the country, he would become a figure within the system of government, with the scope of authority to be determined by the Head of State.
