He noted that the Head of State paid special attention to the country’s socio-economic development, improving the efficiency of government bodies, and the implementation of national projects. Overall, President Tokayev outlined tasks aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth. Bektenov instructed the Ministry of Agriculture to propose measures to increase meat production and exports, and the Ministry of Transport together with local administrations to ensure the modernization of ports, railway stations, and airports. The Ministry of Energy, together with the relevant agency, will need to keep nuclear energy projects under close supervision. The Prime Minister also placed special emphasis on personal responsibility for the execution of these instructions.
«All central and local government bodies, as well as national companies, need to make every effort to ensure their successful implementation. I instruct my deputies to coordinate the execution of the Head of State’s instructions in their areas. The President has declared 2026 the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. Our main goal is to introduce cutting-edge technologies across all sectors of the economy. At the same time, every citizen should feel the practical impact of this work,» Bektenov noted.
Overall, Bektenov emphasized that Kazakhstan must join
the ranks of leading countries that not only develop but also export digital
solutions and services. He noted that the government should implement a
coordinated strategy to advance digitalization and artificial intelligence.
This involves modernizing management processes, enhancing the efficiency of
government agencies, and establishing a reliable infrastructure foundation,
including data centers and energy supply systems.
