Samruk-Kazyna will launch nine major projects worth more than 1 trillion tenge by the end of the year. These include the Taldykorgan-Usharal main gas pipeline, a container hub in Aktau, and the Zhetysu logistics terminal in Almaty. This information was reported to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by Samruk-Kazyna Chairman Nurlan Zhakupov. Overall, the Fund’s investment portfolio comprises approximately 130 projects totaling 53 trillion tenge. President Tokayev was presented with a report on the Fund’s activities for the year. In 2025, a project to expand the capacity of the CASPI BITUM plant was launched, a solar power plant was commissioned, and a desalination facility was built in the village of Kenderli. In addition, since the beginning of the year, Samruk-Energy has produced 31 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, accounting for one-third of the country’s total generation. Following the meeting, the Head of State set tasks aimed at enhancing the Fund’s efficiency and ensuring the sustainable development of national assets.
