Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia hold telephone conversation

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation. In a traditionally friendly and trusting atmosphere, the leaders discussed the current state and prospects for developing multifaceted relations between the two countries. The Presidents noted the consistent implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, as well as ongoing efforts to deepen cultural and humanitarian ties and scientific and educational initiatives. During the conversation, the leaders also exchanged views on international and regional issues. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed his invitation for the Russian President to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan.
