In Almaty, members of the National Coalition met with
financial experts to discuss the draft new Constitution. In particular, they
focused on the key advantages of the updated Basic Law. These include the
creation of a transparent legal environment and the transition to the principle
of a ‘state for the people.’ According to the experts, the document also strengthens mechanisms for
regulating the financial market. For Kazakh citizens, this means increased reliability of bank deposits and
insurance products. In addition, it was noted that the draft new Constitution
will consolidate the status of the national currency, strengthen legal
stability, and improve the investment climate.
«Overall, a predictable legal environment is crucial for
the financial sector. The initiatives of the Head of State have allowed to
create such a predictable investment environment, which is now reflected in
various rankings. Therefore, the provisions set out in the draft new Constitution
are highly significant for the finance industry,» noted Madina Abylkassymova, Chair of the Agency
for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.
Notably, branches of the National Coalition have been
active across the country. Their representatives held meetings with residents
of cities and districts, providing detailed explanations of the new
Constitution and answered questions that concerned the public. For example, in
the Atyrau region, members of the regional coalition met with employees of the
state corporation ‘Government for Citizens’ to discuss the institutional
changes reflected in the Basic Law. The participants expressed confidence that
the draft new Constitution demonstrates Kazakhstan’s commitment to meet
international standards in the field of human rights.
«There is strong public interest in discussing the
draft new Constitution and understanding its key changes. Many questions have
been raised, particularly on issues related to education, young people’s future
rights, and social support,» said Berikkali
Sarsengaliyev, a member of the Atyrau regional coalition.
