Kazakhstan sees increased trust in judiciary

The level of absolute trust in Kazakhstan’s judicial system has risen from 55% to 63% over three years, as reported by Supreme Court Chairman Aslambek Mergaliyev to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a meeting at the Akorda residence. He briefed the Head of State on the results of the administration of justice over the past year and plans for the upcoming period. According to Mergaliyev, the quality of justice has remained stable, and thanks to systemic measures implemented within administrative justice, the protection of citizens’ rights in disputes with government bodies has improved. Cassation courts have also seen high demand. The President emphasized the importance of implementing the principle of Law and Order’, ensuring citizens’ access to fair judicial protection, upholding the rule of law, and increasing public trust in the judicial system.
