Over the first 11 months of this year, manufacturing output increased by 6% to 27 trillion tenge. The main drivers of growth were metallurgy, the chemical industry, and the production of construction materials. To support the sector, special emphasis is being placed on ensuring enterprises have access to affordable raw materials, yielding tangible results. New manufacturing facilities are being launched across Kazakhstan, including the production of household appliances and the assembly of passenger and commercial vehicles. One of the key priorities for the national economy outlined by the Head of State is the transition to medium- and high-value-added production. To achieve this goal, the volume of concessional financing for new projects is being expanded. Since 2022, around 700 billion tenge has been allocated to support the sector, with an additional 330 billion tenge planned for 2026.
«Our plan includes 190 projects. This year, most of these
projects—about 170—have already been completed. We expect to launch this pool of projects, or slightly
more, by the end of the year.
Overall, once all of these projects reach
their designed capacity, total
output is projected to amount to approximately 2 trillion tenge,» said Kazakh Vice Minister of
Industry and
Construction Olzhas Saparbekov.
