The
prospects for implementing joint investment projects between Kazakhstan and
Qatar in the energy and telecommunications sectors were discussed at the Akorda
Presidential Palace. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Moutaz Al-Khayyat
and Ramez Al-Khayyat, the leadership of Power International Holding, and was presented with the company’s plans to
expand its activities in Kazakhstan’s telecommunications market. Tokayev expressed
confidence that the holding’s participation would help modernize the sector’s infrastructure, improve service quality, and increase accessibility for the population. Following
the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening
cooperation and implementing promising investment projects.
