Kazakhstan forms investment pool worth 87 trillion tenge

A pool of 1,500 investment projects has been formed in Kazakhstan, with a total value estimated at 87 trillion tenge. This was reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by Rustam Karagoishin, Chairman of the Baiterek National Investment Holding. He presented a new operating model that provides for the formation of an investment order, support for the largest strategic projects, and the development of mechanisms to attract foreign capital. Following the meeting, the Head of State instructed the Baiterek Holding to ensure the continued implementation of priority investment projects and the attraction of long-term capital into the economy.

«During the meeting, I reported on the results of the Baiterek Holding’s activities in 2025. The total volume of support provided to the economy by the holding amounted to nine trillion tenge. These funds were allocated to support 25,000 small- and medium-sized business projects. In addition, the Head of State was informed about the performance of two guarantee funds established within the Damu Fund Karagoishin said.
