Tokayev discussed the importance of further strengthening multifaceted
cooperation with the European Union (EU), one of Kazakhstan’s key and reliable partners, during a meeting with Eduards
Stiprais, the EU Special Representative for Central Asia. The Head of State noted that the Enhanced Partnership
and Cooperation Agreement was a significant milestone in the development of
bilateral relations. This year marks the 10th anniversary of
its signing. Tokayev also commended the active and constructive dialogue
between the countries of
Central Asia and the EU. For his part, Stiprais reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to
further deepening relations with Kazakhstan and the region as a whole.
