Kazakh President holds meeting at Prosecutor General’s Office

Law and Order must become a fundamental principle of state policy and be enshrined in the new Constitution, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at a meeting held at the Prosecutor Generals Office of Kazakhstan. The Head of State noted that the digitalization of law enforcement agencies remains fragmented. In this regard, he instructed the Government to analyze existing digital solutions, assess their effectiveness, and create a unified digital ecosystem based on common standards. Special attention was given to the issue of personal data leaks, with the President stressing the need for a systemic data protection framework. He also underscored the importance of a comprehensive overhaul of methods used to combat cybercrime. A separate block of discussions focused on the digitalization of migration regulation. Amid Kazakhstan’s growing transit potential, the President pointed to the need to modernize temporary registration systems and strengthen migration control.
