Kazakh government accelerates reform implementation

Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting to discuss the implementation of directives issued by the Head of State during the recent extended government session. He emphasized that the new Constitution will focus on accelerating qualitative economic growth, with priority given to increasing incomes, reducing inflation, and supporting the real sector. In collaboration with the National Bank, a plan will be developed to reduce inflation to 9-11%. By May 1, a program to increase citizens’ incomes for 2026-2029 will be adopted. Government support for businesses will continue under the single window approach on the eGov Business platform. Special attention will be given to the digital transformation of public administration and the implementation of AI solutions. Bektenov also instructed the government to expand the use of the KazLLM language model, enhance the Aitu messenger, and integrate the Tasqyn and Talsim systems for flood and fire forecasting. Tasks were also assigned to other relevant agencies.
