A working meeting on the implementation of the Digital Qazaqstan project
took place at Akorda. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with
digital solutions developed by the Supreme Court, the National Bank, and
Samruk-Kazyna JSC. Heads of government agencies briefed the President on plans
for the further digital transformation of economic sectors and the public
administration system. President Tokayev noted
that significant work lies ahead as part of the Year of Digitalization and
Artificial Intelligence. The primary task is to accelerate the digitalization
of the state apparatus and integrate interagency information systems into
government processes. As President Tokayev emphasized, the focus should be on
eliminating excessive approvals. The President tasked the Government with
ensuring a deep transformation of the state apparatus. The Ministry of
Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development will coordinate this process.
The President also highlighted the need to develop the national computing infrastructure
and prepare a plan for the development of the digital assets sector. He
instructed financial regulators to work on the latter jointly with the
government and law enforcement agencies.
