2025 in review: Reforms, innovation, and consolidation

State Counsellor Erlan Karin summed up the results of 2025, a year that marked a stage of institutional consolidation of presidential reforms in Kazakhstan. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s initiative to transition to a unicameral parliament reflects a commitment to strengthening political institutions and fostering constructive political dialogue. Overall, Karin emphasized that the consistent implementation of the President’s political course is placing the country on a new strategic path of development.
