State Counsellor Erlan Karin summed up the results of 2025, a year that
marked a stage of institutional consolidation of presidential reforms in
Kazakhstan. On his social media account, he noted that efforts to systematize
domestic policy and shape a shared value framework continued. The year was also
marked by the formation of a long-term national direction focused on
large-scale digitalization and the widespread adoption of artificial
intelligence (AI) technologies. In addition, 2025 signaled the start of a new
phase of political reforms in the country. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s
initiative to transition to a unicameral parliament reflects a commitment to
strengthening political institutions and fostering constructive political
dialogue. Overall, Karin emphasized that the consistent implementation of the
President’s political course is placing the country on a new strategic path of
development.
