2025 has
been officially declared the Year of Working Professions in Kazakhstan. The
corresponding decree was signed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Earlier, in
his state-of-the-nation address on September 2, the Head of State emphasized
the importance of consistently enhancing the country’s human resources
potential. It was also announced in the address that the following year would
be the Year of Working Professions. The decree takes effect from the day of its
signing, marking the beginning of large-scale initiatives aimed at developing
the technical and vocational education system, supporting the workforce, and
raising the prestige of jobs.
