New Constitution lays foundation for Kazakhstan’s development

In the draft of Kazakhstan’s new Basic Law, the principle of ‘Law and Order is enshrined at the highest constitutional level. According to Mazhilis member Abzal Kuspan, this will have a positive impact on the country’s economic growth and sustainable development. The rule of law will ensure the protection of investments and capital, which, in turn, will stimulate economic activity. This fundamental principle will strengthen business confidence in state institutions.

«Law and order are essential. Only when the terms of agreements, whether between business partners or an employer and an employee, are respected can countries prosper, their economies grow, and order and the rule of law be upheld. Only under such conditions will people want to live and raise their children in such a country,» noted Abzal Kuspan, a member of the Mazhilis, the Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament.

The changes reflected in the draft new Constitution will have a positive impact on the country’s transformation into a digital state. This process requires both the training of IT specialists and the implementation of modern technologies in the system of public administration. This is the view of Mazhilis member Yekaterina Smyshlyayeva. At the same time, the new Constitution will also contribute to supplying the domestic market with IT-skilled specialists across all sectors, she notes. The new Basic Law places priority on the development of science, support for education, and workforce training, which will serve as the foundation for further growth of the country’s economy.

«We are at a stage of development. In fact, we are part of a revolutionary and evolutionary process in the global development of digital technologies. We are not isolated. In the digital world it is almost impossible to remain local. That is why we must meet the demands of today and the needs of our userssaid Yekaterina Smyshlyayeva, a member of the Mazhilis, the Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament.
