Kazakhstan
will enhance its system for training aviation specialists with the involvement
of international training centers. The government has presented a three-year plan for the development of civil aviation,
which includes modernizing airport infrastructure and navigation, expanding
both international and domestic route networks, and increasing the aircraft
fleet. The Almaty and Astana air
hubs will receive special development, where
terminal reconstruction and runway upgrades are planned. The strategy also
envisions the creation of cargo and technical clusters, along with a service
ecosystem. Ensuring a high level of compliance with ICAO
standards remains a priority. According to this year’s ICAO audit, Kazakhstan’s
compliance rate stands at 95.7%, while the global average is 72%. Overall, passenger
traffic grew by 6% in the first 10 months of the year, surpassing 13 million
passengers.
