Kazakhstan is building the largest data center campus in
Central Asia, with an energy capacity of up to 1 GW. The country’s Prime
Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting to review the progress of the Data
Center Valley project, in line with the tasks set by President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the National Kurultai session. The facility is being
constructed in the Pavlodar region in accordance with international standards. Nearly 1,500 hectares of
land have been allocated for the data center. The campus will become a regional
hub for digital infrastructure, capable of attracting up to $30 billion in
investment.
