The National Coalition for the People’s Constitution, led by Mazhilis Chairman Yerlan Koshanov, continues its large-scale regional information campaign explaining the provisions of the draft new Basic Law. The latest meeting took place in the Turkistan region. Issues of stable employment, safety, and respect for workers were discussed with railway employees of the operational locomotive depot. Participants stressed that supporting specialists is a key condition for the industry’s sustainability. The delegation then visited the Shaga Industrial Park, the village of Shaga, and the Turkistan Congress Hall. Coalition members met with the public to discuss industrial development and business support. They also addressed the upcoming referendum and spoke about the importance of historical traditions and spiritual values in strengthening unity and the country’s further development.
«Overall, I would like to share my views on the draft new
Constitution, which is widely discussed in society today. Of course, the Basic
Law contains many articles. For me, as a specialist in family and domestic
relations, Article 30 is of particular importance. In the new Constitution, it aims to enshrine traditional family values and
strengthen the concept of the family as an institution under state protection,» said Rukhabza Khaldarbek, Director of the Dara Urpak
Public Fund.
