Artificial intelligence is becoming a key tool for efficiency in the energy sector. In Kazakhstan, AI solutions are being applied to geological exploration, production optimization, transportation, and processing. Speaking at the KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov highlighted digitalization as one of the country’s main advantages in the region. He noted that using AI for data analysis, along with enhanced oil recovery methods, makes it possible to increase production not only at existing fields but also to unlock the potential of small and medium-sized deposits. Bektenov underscored that Kazakhstan remains a reliable partner, open to cooperation with international organizations and businesses. He also delivered a welcome address from the Head of State to the forum participants.
«Kazakhstan attaches great importance to attracting investment to the energy sector and enhancing its competitiveness. In this regard, our country, as a responsible middle power, is committed to strengthening ties with leading international organizations, including the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the IAEA, and OPEC. I am confident that the new ideas and innovative projects presented at the forum will foster the development of the energy sector,» Bektenov said.
